Students to Work with The Freedom Archives to Explore how Archival Practices Support Social Justice Scholarship

This summer, Future Histories Lab students enrolled in Archiving as Social Justice Practice will work with The Freedom Archives to explore how archival practices support social justice scholarship. Taught by Lincoln Cushing, students will study several special collections built by and for activists, review their missions and processes, and learn about the role that archival practice plays in the building of knowledge.
