Students in Susan Moffat’s ‘Ghosts and Visions’ course created a mile-long series of installations and an audio and augmented reality tour at an old landfill on San Francisco Bay. The downloadable walking tour uses the peninsula known as the Albany Bulb as an observatory from which to see California histories of extractive industries, residential segregation, and globalization. The work of students including Heidi Dong, Julia Park, Louana Garraud, and Madeleine Fraix is featured in the article.
